Cooling Quality Checkup:                       

1. Amp load test of compressor and condenser fan motors.

2. Inspection of compressor and condenser fan motors for wear, rusting, cooling openings, vibration and noise. 

3. Inspection of condenser coil for air flow limitations caused by fin damage, dirt, dust and debris. Clean as needed.

4. Check and charge refrigerant as needed by testing suction pressure, discharge pressure and super heat.           

5. Inspection of evaporator coil for air flow limitations caused by dirty filters, fin damage, dust and debris.

6. Testing of expansion valve or refrigerant metering device.

7. Inspection of drain pan for rusting and / or cracking.

8.  Inspection and cleaning of condensation drain.

9. Inspection of all electrical connections and contacts for arcing wear and overheating in condenser unit.

10. Inspection and testing of all electrical components in condenser unit.

11. Inspection and testing of reversing valve operation.

12. Inspection of accumulator and filter dryer for rusting and leaking.

 

Heating Quality Checkup:       

1. Amp load test of blower motor and venter motor.

2. Inspection of blower and venter motors for wear, rusting, cooling openings, vibration and noise.                       

3. Inspection and testing of defrost cycle and refrigerant pressure . Charge as needed.

4. Inspection and cleaning of heating elements or burner assembly.

5. Inspection and testing of sequencer staging, blower delays and all high temperature limits.

6. Inspection of all wiring connections, safety’s and contacts for arcing, wear and over heating.

7. Inspection of blower wheel for balance, cleanliness and integrity.

8. Testing of gas valve operation and gas leaks back to shut off.

9. Inspect and test ignition control, flame sensor and flame condition.

10. Inspect and test fan limit and pressure switch.

11. Testing of flame failure protection.

12. Inspection of thermostat for dust and operation and change filter if replaceable.
